The National Council Licensure Examination- Registered Nurse is a test that determines whether candidates are qualified to work as nurses in the United States, Canada, or Australia. The National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) is a certification examination for practical nurses.

Who can write ?

These tests are carried out only in certain states. In other words, if a job seeker in Texas wants to work in Florida, he or she must take a Texas-specific NCLEX-RN exam as well as another state-specific test. Because the test is state-specific, the results will be reviewed by the board of the state where you took it.

Format for NCLEX-RN

The first step in scheduling an NCLEX-RN exam is to verify your credentials. Pearson VUE administers the NCLEX-RN, a computer-adaptive nursing exam. Depending on the previous responses, the difficulty level of each question is enhanced. MCQs, gap-fills, drag-drop questions, audio questions, drag to right order, and other question kinds are among the many available.Out of a total of 265 questions, at least 75 must be answered correctly. It may run up to 6 hours with optional breaks because it is an adaptive test. After two hours, the first break is granted, followed by a three-hour respite. The test is completed when the candidate successfully answers 75 questions, or when he or she has completed all 265 questions, or when the time limit of 6 hours has expired.
